In over 20 years in hospitality, Barbara has developed a strong skill set in accounting, process control, administrative procedures, and developing software and tools. All with an eye on serving business needs and improving performance and efficiency.

Expertise

  • Accounting: classification, planning and oversight – covering everything from the daily bookkeeping to the annual statements
  • Management audit: performance monitoring, cost control, analysis and reporting
  • Processes and procedures: setting internal standards to apply to all hotels/departments
  • Training and support: everyday teamwork with the various departments, assisting with tax, accounting and operational matters
  • Software: developing, implementing and improving business software (requirements analysis, financial obligations, integration), working in teams with external software specialists
